All pieces are created from secondhand, thrifted men’s dress shirts. Because these garments are pre-owned, light wear or small imperfections may be present, but each item is carefully selected in good to great condition. Every shirt is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before any sewing begins.
Each piece is fully deconstructed and thoughtfully reconstructed by hand to complement a smaller frame. Raw edges may be visible on collars and occasionally sleeves; loose threads and subtle seam irregularities are part of the design and reflect the handmade nature of the work.
Every garment is sewn with care and intention, making each piece completely one of a kind.
sustainable
Designed with intention and respect for the planet. Every garment begins as a thrifted mens shirt, carefully reimagined to extend its life. Choosing reused over new means less waste, fewer resources, and fashion you can feel good about.
sizing
I don’t believe traditional sizing tells the whole story. While shirts are loosely labeled as Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large, some pieces may be marked as “Small/Medium” or similar to better reflect their fit. Because each garment is one of a kind, sizing naturally varies.
The best way to ensure a great fit is to refer to the actual measurements provided. Bust is measured from armpit to armpit, length from the shoulder to the bottom hem, and sleeve length from the top seam of the sleeve to the cuff.
I intentionally play with proportions — some pieces have a roomier bust with a shorter length, others feature longer sleeves with a narrower fit through the body. Everyone’s body is different, and everyone styles their shirts differently, so I encourage you to choose the piece that feels right for you.
Caring for your shirt
Care for these shirts is simple. Everything is pre shrunk so you don't have to worry about how you wash and dry them. Depending on fabric, it's possible your ruffle collar comes out of the dryer looking a little sad. Don't worry, less than 2 min with a hot iron and your collar will fluff back up. You don't have to iron the entire collar, just work on straightening the top seam. See the before and after photo.
